Atopic dermatitis research

JEL0305 is the peptide that leads Carocell Bio’s current dermatitis material: a topical formulation with nanoparticle delivery, studied in cellular assays and in human skin biopsies outside the body.

Why atopic dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis (eczema) is a chronic inflammatory skin condition. The company’s current pages concentrate its development effort on this indication.

The original pages also contain educational commentary on existing treatments and market projections. These are dated company content, not current clinical guidance, and are not reproduced here.

Limits of this evidence

  • Ex vivo biopsy studies use tissue outside the body; they are not clinical trials in treated patients.
  • A comparison with a steroid in tissue does not establish comparative efficacy or safety in patients.
  • No clinical phase is established. ClinicalTrials.gov searches for “JEL0305” and “Carocell” (13 Oct 2026) returned no studies — this does not cover every registry.
